The agreement between you and English Language Studio when you book lessons with us.
Who you are contracting with
These terms are a binding agreement between you and English Language Studio, a sole trader business trading under the name English Language Studio, established at Sluisstraat 79, De Hoorn, 3000 Leuven, Belgium ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: annalexovna@gmail.com.
Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, booking a lesson or course, or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services. Continued use of the site or our services after we update these terms means you accept the updated version. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf, and that where you book on behalf of an organisation you have authority to bind it.
Our services
We provide English language tuition: in-person and online group courses, private lessons, a Coffee Talks Speaking Club, free 30-minute level assessments, and consultations for teachers. Course content, level and schedule are described on the relevant page of this website.
Booking a place
A place on a group course is confirmed once we have agreed your level and you have received a confirmation from us. Group courses have a maximum of 5 students. You agree to give accurate contact details and to keep them up to date, and to keep any account credentials we issue confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Prices and payment
All in-person group courses are €440 per person in total for the full 2-month course, 16 lessons, 2 lessons per week, maximum 5 students per group. Online group courses are €350 for 16 lessons of 90 minutes. Private lessons are €45 per hour, Coffee Talks Speaking Club €20 per session and teacher consultations €55 per hour. Prices are one-time payments — we do not operate automatically renewing subscriptions. Course fees are paid before the course starts unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Payment, billing, invoicing, applicable taxes and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Reseller and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases made through this website. Full details, including how to request a refund, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Private lessons can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours notice. Lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full. If we have to cancel a lesson, you are offered a replacement slot at no extra cost.
Missed group lessons
Group courses follow a fixed schedule. Individual missed lessons are not rescheduled or credited, but you will receive the materials and a short summary so you can catch up. This does not affect your rights under our Refund Policy or under applicable consumer law.
Trial lessons
The 30-minute level assessment is free and carries no obligation to book a course.
